A good designer begins by listening to the desires you have for your life and home. By listening to you, Kami Mead can implement ideas and concepts to help you better realize your dream. Your home is not just a house. It is your dwelling, your resting place, and as such, it must be both beautiful and livable at the same time. Your home should be a refuge, a sanctuary - an oasis of peace and comfort designed with your lifestyle and preferences in mind.
Biography:
Kami's life continues to be shaped by a rich variety of places, people and experiences. Born in Idaho, Kami was raised in Colorado, and educated in Colorado, Virginia, England and West Virginia with extensive travels in Europe. With these exciting and diverse experiences, she has a unique background to approach any project. While known for her work in fine homes, Kami also has supplied design solutions to commercial and corporate clients. Her work is recognized for its creative blending of elegance and livability. Before moving to Oakland County in January 2002, Kami worked for the premier design firm in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Kami earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from West Virginia University (Magna Cum Laude, 2000). She is a professional member of American Society of Interior Designers.
